coaching and mentoring and be able to apply them in order to develop their staff, give
confident and assertive feedback and have a better relationships with their staff.
About the Course:
As pressure on today’s managers continues to grow, getting the very best out of their people
becomes ever more critical. Coaching and mentoring, probably the two most under-utilised and
cost-effective forms of staff development, are activities going on in most workplaces. But
only when managers have a through understanding of the process and grasp of the skills
involved is the immense potential of coaching and mentoring realised.
The course itself is both practical and participative. Rather than with case studies, participants
work on their current work issues and coach ’live' 1:1 sessions. There will be many
opportunities for both skills practice and to give and receive feedback.
